Tour de Force - Solomon Islands 10

An Australian icon, a covers artist, country rock and folk/pop provided a great contrast of styles to the guys and girls in the Solomons.

The tour went superbly thanks to the great interaction between the AFP and military personnel at GBR and the hospitality afford the tour party could not have been any better. The opportunity for the civilian artists to move around and between the islands to meet as many Australians and locals as possible was greatly appreciated and all artists expressed sincere admiration for what our troops and AFP are doing.

While the formal and informal concerts were a highlight of the tour, the opportunity to sit and sing with troops under the trees on the side of a hill was enthralling and surreal.
