Tour de Force - East Timor 7

March 6, 2004 to March 16, 2004

This ten day tour to East Timor began with a family concert at Enogerra Barracks in Brisbane, Queensland before the tour party headed off to Dili. This concert was designed to let the families of the deployed soldiers experience the same concert their loved ones would see in East Timor.

The tour party boarded a C130 Hercules for the long, long flight to Dili. It is amazing how long these flights can be when there is no entertainment - despite the plane being full of singers, comedians, dancers and musicians.

The four concerts held in East Timor were concluded with a large public concert at Dili stadium where over 5,000 people enjoyed the show.
